Welcome!

This site has been started during a period of challenging economic times when the whole world is experiencing the worst economic crisis in many years. While much of the blame has been placed on financial greed, corruption and other related topics, I place the blame on poor management. The knee jerk reaction by most organizations has been to lay off thousands of people, who at one time were considered valuable, when first hired. If history is any measure, many of these same positions will be hired back a year later at twice the price.

This site and workshops are a reaction to the management crisis. As a result of poor management education, broken organizational systems, and an overemphasis on reward and punishment, today's modern managers are held hostage by the systems, under which they manage.

The only hope is for a new enlightenment by these same managers or better education for new managers. The Best Manager is an attempt to give useful, practical, and simple, but effective tools and methods for great management through content and workshops.

Management is both an art and a science. Good managers care about the development of the people they manage as well as the development of the organizations they manage. They also know how to get the most important things done. The key to avoid the next management crisis is to educate and develop better managers. "The Best Manager" -will give practical and useful ideas for those new managers just starting out, those in school studying management, and, of course, for those current managers who just need some fresh new ideas.
